Extreme Durability Meets Fluid Resistance – Discover IOTA FHTV 3200 Series
When your application demands both chemical resistance and mechanical strength, the IOTA FHTV 3200 Series Fluorosilicone Rubber delivers. Engineered for high-performance environments, this series combines the fuel and oil resistance of fluorosilicone with significantly improved tear strength and tensile performance.
The FHTV 3240, 3250, and 3260 grades offer hardness levels from 40 to 60 Shore A, tensile strength above 10 MPa, and tear strength up to 43 kN/m. Whether you need flexibility or durability, these materials maintain excellent elongation at break — up to 490% — ensuring reliable performance under stress.
High-temperature resistance is another key advantage. After 72 hours at 225°C, the material shows minimal changes in hardness, tensile strength, and elongation. Compression set values remain low (11–12%) even after 22 hours at 177°C, making this series suitable for long-term sealing applications.
Fuel resistance testing (Fuel C, 23°C/72h) shows volume swell between 20–23%, confirming outstanding stability in aggressive fluid environments. Additionally, resilience values around 33–35% provide good dynamic response.
Processing is straightforward with recommended DBPH curing agent (0.6–1 phr). Standard press cure is 170°C for 15 minutes, followed by a post-cure at 200°C for 4 hours. The product comes in 20 kg boxes and should be stored in a cool, dry place with a shelf life of one year.
Choose IOTA FHTV 3200 Series for applications such as aerospace seals, automotive fuel system components, and industrial gaskets where high tear strength and fluid resistance are non-negotiable.
